Hiya both - specal hi to Amy. Jut looked at your latest photos; now, this is what I imagine when I think of Australia - sun, sea, sand, cute guys. koalas, etc.! Looks like you've hooked up with other lovely friends to travel with? The big news this end is my b/day bash was amazing - masses of friends came from all over - including two I hadn't seen for over 20 years (just like we talked yesterday), and Margaret and Bob came down from Hexham for a few days. In every photo I have a glass of wine in my hand (not dissimilar from my lovely neice if I read correctly from photos posted). We had such a laugh with the helium balloons at the end of the evening, all singing happy birthday on helium, hilarious. I was taken to The Ivy restaurant by Margaret and Bob as a surprise the next evening which was fantastic, didn't spot any celebrities though! I'm now fighting with terrible flu which I managed to keep at bay for over a week until my b/day was over. It was great getting your card and pressies - pressies fantastic, good choices. Keep the news/photos coming; good luck and keep safe on the next part of your journey.

I've been busy now that i'm back at college and got a job! Failed my driving test but isn't too bad coz theres always other tries. Hopefully next time fingers crossed!

X-factors not that great this year just b****ing judges so ur lucky u aint watching it. we don't have much choice as saturday nites are taken up by it lol. The tattoos sounds nice. Ur so brave getting them done!

Nice to see the latest post today, and interested to see your plans for the rest of the trip. Excalibur is a decent hotel - bit cheesy but that's Vegas. It's fairly central and on the Strip. If you go just off the strip the hotels get much cheaper.

Been having a gander at the photos - looks like everything is going well and you're having fun. The Neighbours nights out look great fun - I'd be quite giddy with excitement if I was there. So sad, lol!

Can't believe it has been about 6 months since you left - the time seems to be flying. Won't be much longer till we see you again (although I imagine you're probably wanting to stay where you are, I know I would...)

By the way, when is it you plan to go to America? Would still love to work out a way of going out there myself (funds permitting, of course...)

Hope you are both doing ok, i'm at college and so bored as we haven't got any work to get on with as yet but the breaks are long! Thought I would have a look at your blog but you haven't updated it tut tut!!! lol

I've not been up to much. Really want a better part-time job but hate working weekends and so don't actually have time any other days of the week now I am in college for 4 of them. Life's busy!!!

Anyway I hove nothing more to write and now I have the task of trying to find something else to do lol! Bet your not having that trouble where u r. Saying that the weather here has been rather nice, don't remember the last time we had rain!

Went to Rob and Wendys party yesterday - beautiful weather tho its cold at night now. Celebrating several things - their wedding ann. Rob and Sammys birthday and also the last weekend before Ceri goes to uni. She is in Lambert at manchester, how weird is that? She still hasnt visited idont think! Could be in the same room even!! Poor Ben has been in hospital - has been having bad headaches and just came to the house briefly to say hello and then return back to hospital where i think he is on antibiotics and being kept under observation. He is supposed to be starting at College tomorrow but I guess thats not going to happen, perhaps later on this week or the next.

Lucy was there too looking stunning as usual, with her boyfriend Liam who is lovely. We lent Rob and Wendy 4 tents for Sammy and her friends to have a sleepover in the garden. hmmmm

Had a great time and there was enough food there to feed a small nation! Will tell you more about it when we skype! Kelly is only just getting better and I feel guilty about taking the mickey. She still hasnt got her voice back properly, sounds more like Marilyn Monroe than Kelly!! Vanessa is at a biking rally called Soggy Moggy, a charity event and she is in a tent too, the weather has been sooo good this weekend. Simon is going to uni next week too.....

Grandy and Hilary have just had a week in Wales and should be back today. Of course Jack goes back next week. Harry and Naomi are both going to the gym regularly and seem to be enjoying it..........Harry is back at school, Naomi starts back at college this week, and looking forward to it.
