We have set up camp just before Portsland. We were just sitting down for a drink before tea and the parrots joined us. We hand fed them some crumbled biscuits. Sharon had a full biscuit in her hand and the 'boss' parrot grabbed it! We also had a family of kookaburra's hanging around, they were feasting on the white ants from one of the logs we had ready for the fire!
As the sun went down the birds disappeared and little wallabies joined us instead. One was brave enough to take food from our hands and let us pat it! The others were pretty scared. One had a joey!
