Dalhousie Springs, South Australia
Luke was the only one to put on his swimmers and take a dip in the 35'c waters of Dalhousie Springs! He said the worst part was having to get out into the rather fresh breeze.
Dalhousie Ruins, South Australia
First stop of the day was at the Dalhousie Ruins. There wasn't much of the houses left. I couldn't imagine how lonely it would have been for the two original people living there!
Pedirka Railway Station Ruins, South Australia
We stopped and had a look around the Pedirka station ruins. This is where the old Ghan steam train stopped to fill up with water! There is no track left at all now, just a few odd pieces of metal scattered around. We also saw a car upside down and half buried with sand.
Oodnadata, South Australia
Our first stop after leaving Coober Pedy was Oodnadata, Australia's driest and hottest town!! Not much there, just a PINK roadhouse and a few houses! We had lunch at the roadhouse and bought a few pink souvenirs! We let the tyres down and went back on our way...
