LAYOVER IN GERMANY...

It's always fascinating to travel to other countries, even if only for a layover in a major airport.

- Countless foreign languages.
- Different noises for familiar activities.
- New customs to observe.
- Various food to explore.
- Mesmerizing architecture styles.

Arriving in Frankfurt was no different: off the plane, through the terminal, on to another terminal.

For all the planning we did for this trip, we neglected to think about this 3-hour period at the Frankfurt airport. With little sleep during the first leg, the male travelers were eager for coffee and/or food. With comparatively more sleep, the female travelers were eager to stay on the medication schedule -- which meant food, too!

As seen in this post's cover photo, we fortunately found a McCafe -- nothing a "restaurant" we actively sought, but one that allowed for the consumption of food fit for malaria pill taking!!

And, while I shake my head as I type this, should you ever find yourself in search if a caramel coffee something, the McCafe Caramel Frap is rather refreshing! :-)

On to our next flight. 6.5 hours to Delhi...
