First day in Costa Rica today. Met a guy that is going to be on my tour. His name is Kenny and he is from Canada. Went for a wander down to the Main Street of San Jose. It is a pedestrian only street that runs for about 1-2 km. Very cool. Lots of actual shops but also heaps of people on the streets selling sunnies, DVDs, bags and fruit and vegetables. Reminds me of Asia a lot. Even the infrastructure is a lot like Asia.
