thank you for your kind messages. clearly sue has been out campaigning as i have never been this popular!  more than 20 emails, messages, even a video. madness! we are in la paz, the lofty Bolivian capital at 3650meters. the beer is 7% and 33p a pint, so after parting company with a quid its goodnight Vienna. lots of post to open after our visit to the GPO. how exciting.

Bad luck about the Thief guys. I feel for you. Same kind of thi nk happened to me about 15 years ago on a campsite just outside Rome. Nicked all my clothes off a makeshift washing line. Anyhow, I take it you have travel insurance and can get most of it back??
