Allen's Travels
Photo 105 of 120
Home-stay at Masar's is an education.
No windows, no doors, sand floors and Sudanese beds (old steel-framed). Shared toilet in the backyard is a long-drop squatty, bathing is done in a bucket in the room next door to the loo. Hosepipe works between 5 - 6 in the morning so containers are filled with water for daily use. Having said all that, it is as clean as can be and they have made us all extremely welcome (for $90/day all incl).
