Sorry I have been in the Outback no internet or phone reception. Just heared about the drama at Glasgow airport. Well I arrived in Perth 2 weeks ago IN THE RAIN and it rained until I got to Exmouth. In Perth I met a girl who was from Glasgow. She had done the same tour as me with the same tourguide2 months before me he had talked about her. Strange that we should bump into each other. We went to Freemantle a lovely town beside Perth. Katie and I got to fire the one o clock gun at the roundhouse which looked out to sea. We had a beer at the little creatures brewery on Sunday afternoon apparently Australians go to the pub on a Sunday afternoon. Perth is a pretty city very clean. Booked a tour up the west coast to Darwin takes 21 days. Stopped at Monkey Mia to see wild dolphins come in to the shore to be fed, they were lovely but I liked the pelicans too they were very funny. Have seen a few Kangaroos and an Emu. At Exmouth I went snorkeling but the currents were very strong and me not being a great swimmer I only did it for a short time. I did see a few fish. Some people payed 200 pounds to go swimming with whale sharks but you had to be a good swimmer. But unfortunately they did not see any. It seems all Australians are really good swimmers, wish I was better than I am. Went gorge walking it was really good climbing lots of red rocks some with water gushing down I had climb down a rope. On the way down one of the gorges we met a guy who had seen two brown snakes (they are poisoness like most things in Australia) . Have really enjoyed sleeping in a swag underneath the stars it is so clear in the bush. Stayed at some ECO campsites they are clean but we woke up with ice on the tent the other day. Not seen much of Broome yet thinking of you all and doing ny blog. Iet is lovely and sunny and hot outside. Hate staying at backpackers in a room of strangers no privacy and they are all about 18 to 2
