After leaving Montevideo I headed to the small coastal town of Colonia del Sacremento, or just Colonia. Compared to some of the other places I've visted colonia really is small with only about 10x10 blocks. It has a very historic centre with cobbled streets and many old buildings including Uruguay's oldest church and other stuff. The first days was really hot and I wandered around the town (which took about 10 minutes) before going for drinks with people from the hostel. The next day it rained all day which was a pain but i did a bit more explore between downpours. WAs supposed to get an early night cos the boat to Beunos Aires leaves at 5.30 but unfortuantely Iended up going for drinks again and staying up way too late.
