Up before 5 am to catch the coach to Alice springs. And the long trip up the Stuart highway.

Was nice to see the sunrise this morning from the coach the sky was an awesome orange colour.

We were on the coach for 2 and a half hours before we even saw another building which shows you how isolated coober pedy is. It was a petrol station and people were camping there. To break up the long journey.

On the coach we drive through the "bush" with the scenery hardly changing but you can see for miles. This is the australia I came to see.

On the coach we hardly ever pass another car. I know for one thing you wouldn't wanna run out of petrol out here!!!

Hour stop at Marla services. Again couldn't see anything else nearby!! I brought a coffee and some raisen toast $7/4.25.

The scenery didn't really change until we hit Alice.

Got of the coach and walked the 1k to our hostel!
