In an attempt to increase the quality/entertainment of my blogs by not just remembering all I can by racking my brain I made notes/key words as I wandered around the last few days. Incidentally for anyone revising, this technique of note taking worked well for me last year... And good luck to you if you do have exams, but only if you feel you deserve it.
Wood chip smell. Wandering around turtle bay (a river not a bay) in Redding, CA I had the pleasurable memory of childhood playtime at parks such as Harewood House. A reminder if my fond future of having kids.
Lego art. There are some fantastic, if some disturbing works of art made from Lego bricks if you google them, they are sure to come up, the book was $25... And there are some feet clever things you can do with Lego TM
Sundial Bridge. $24000000 this bridge cost because some famous Spanish guy designed it, it is "a connection in the environment what brings the community together" and other some such vomit-worthy explanations. It is a very nice bridge, works as a sundial and let me see some very cute tortoises sleeping on a log. It was also designed to let light through the deck so that the ecosystems aren't affected... Hmm... I think it needs a clean tbh. But all in all it is a VERY NICE expensive bridge.
British accent - kids love it grown ups don't care, probably ok many British baddies. Benedict cumberbach ring one luscious example in Star Trek and generally girls in American tv shows who breaks ip with the male character. (2 different extremes there)
Redding. Gets a thumbs up from me. But is was just a bit too got being right in the middle of flat country away from the coast.
Warm mountainous Shasta. A mountain where I slept but in the town and another village on the way up I was very warm, no jacket and shorts. Unlike European and kiwi mountains.
No chip and pin checking. I am vey aware of how easy it would be for anyone to use my card who isn't me. In fact the name on this card is just A HOCKIN so any Andrew, Adam or Alicia could easily claim it should they e a Hockin...
Twilight-esque (the movie). Driving through the Oregon and west coast countryside was just how the films portray it and I half expected a vampire with a girl on her back to pop out at any time! Especially with me in my flash car.
Finally for anyone who has seen Star Trek, it looks like I left San Francisco just in time before getting taken out by the big black ship! Did you notice they are still using cable cars in 2257?
