I meet 2 Irish girls and a Canadian girl on the train and we rented a wagon that provided us with all of the essentials for camping. It was really neat to drive in the Outback. From Alice Springs to Ayers Rock it took around 5 hours. And we saw lots of road kill; kangeroos, camels, and cows. You are not allowed to drive after 6:30pm in the Outback because it is too dangerous.
