Long bus journey today along a very windy bumpy mountain road, with fantastic scenery through the little mountain villages at a high altitude. Day 25: Friday 11th March (By AJ). Vang Vieng - TUBING AND CAVES! We had a very relaxed breakfast this morning, waffles in the courtyard! We are loving the chilled out pace of life in Laos already! We then completed the 4 hour drive to Vang Vieng, and had a quick walk around the town. Day 24: Thursday 10th March (By AJ). Vientiene (Capital of Laos). Another early start after breakfast for the 6 hour journey of beautiful mountain scenery - and very windy roads again! - to the Capital of Laos, Vientiene. We had fruit shakes and baguettes with the group on arrival and then all hired a tuk tuk to visit the local temples. The huge gold stupa looked very impressive from the outside! Day 23: Wednesday 9th March. Vietnam/Laos Border (Lac Sao). By ChrisWe had to be down at breakfast today at 6am as we had a long journey ahead of us.
