Mui Ne is a very small place. I wouldn't even describe it as a town, more of a dusty road that happens to run parallel to the sea front.
Besides the beach and the number of bars, restaurants, cheap guesthouses and expensive resorts that line the road there really is nothing here. We stayed for two nights. Here, for your reading pleasure, is a brief, compact paragraph of those two nights…
We stayed in a cheap guesthouse. Our bed had Tom and Jerry bed covers. They also had a pet pigeon that squawked loudly at the break of dawn each day. I dreamt of killing the pigeon. We ate. We laid. If we felt energetic - we sat up. On the beach. By the pool at the local resort. The pool cost 50,000vnd each. Me and Aimee paid. Ash and Becca didn't. I now realise that we are far too honest. There was a small café across the road. It was ran by a small lady who bared an uncanny resemblance to the Terminator. The Terminator served porridge flavoured scrambled eggs.
After two nights and two and a half days we booked ourselves onto the bus to Saigon. The bus coast $5 each and departed at 13:30...
