Day 5 . That was the hardest day of our lives. And we all finished with being able to see for MILES and MILES - some from Gilmans Point, Some from Stella Point and some from Uhuru Peak.. Just amazing.. and very very high x

Camp 3 at 4315 meters. Today has been physically Not to bad, and mentally very tough. Up at 0630 to pack up with breakfast at 0730 and start to climb at 0900. Straight up and over changing rocky terrain, taking on plenty of water and snacks as we went. None of us take tablets for malaria or altitude in case it effects oxygen intake. Day Two. Wow that was one HELL of a day. Started with amazing views of the Eastern ice fields on the rim of the crater. We ended the day after 8 hours at **** wa Camp, Mawenzi Tarn at 11,800ft.
