Versailles, what a place. The moment you first see it as you drive down the Avennue de Paris you can appreciate the whole intent of the layout and the majesty of the Palace. Arrived late on the 22/08/2012 and dont leave Paris until the 29th and staying on the boulevard Haussmann. Whilst in Paris have the following planned as part of the trip. Another country we have now been through. Interesting to see how the road goes under the airport, I suspect it actually goes under the runway and not the taxiways given the size of the bridge/tunnel. Some interesting observations whilst on the bus to Paris Cheap drinks One field of hash (hemp) spotted between the French boarder and Reims. (Given there were no cars around it suspect it wasn't the recreational type of crop) A couple of bunkers in farmers fields...

Another chance to wander around a great little Germany town, especially given the fantastic warm weather. The downside is that we have finished the cruising component of the tour and now onto Paris. I have to say I enjoyed the many little towns we went through whilst in Germany. Whilst quaint is probably an off used term it does really describe what these towns do look like. Whilst I wouldn't want to live in the major cities I reckon I could live in one of these...

Final stop for the cruise..bummer. Here we just grabbed the bus for a visit to Trier.
