A quick 11 hour flight time brought me to the beautiful island of Ireland. I was greeted at the door of my booked hotel by my dear, dear friend and former roommate Suzanne Finnegan. It's pretty incredible how quickly 3 years melts away with great friends!
After a long catch up over getting ready and dinner, we were ready to take Dublin by storm.
We hit up a few lovely places, but as you would probably suspect, where else would a couple of SF girls be at the end of the evening... Oh yes, a gay club!?
The night was a great laugh, as they say.
The following morning took a walk through the city and parks and somehow found ourselves at the Guinness Brewery. Honestly, shocked how that could've possibly have happened. And just like a proper Irish experience went straight for the pub on the 7th floor.
"They" say the Guinness tasted better here, and "they" certainly aren't liars!
After our much deserved pint we headed back to the train station via the Brazen Head, Ireland's Oldest Pub. We both had a Bulmer's which I now understand is a Magner's, however, with their original name. And after, rushed to the train station, as I had to head west to Sligo to meet Charlotte.
It quite literally broke my heart, but was forced to walk by the Jameson Distillery without entering in order to make the train... Ouch!! But make the train I did. Dublin, good craic!

Becky I can't wait to hear which beer and which brewery ranks as number one. I hope you have a score sheet you are taking to each one to keep a tally - a global (not blind) taste test!
Suzie Gina!! What a blast I am still recovering haha! It was my pleasure to greet you in Dublin, I only wish we had longer. I look forward to hearing all your fun along the way dear. Much love and as we say here in Ireland....for gods sake mind yourself!! ;) xxx
