Yes I am back in Europe. It was a lot of traveling and waiting to get from Goa to Mumbai and then to Munich and finally to Vienna, but in the end everything went quite smootly and I was so happy to see Andys familiare face meeting me at the airport about 42 hours after I left Goa. The busride from Goa to Mumbai was okay. I split the quite small sleeper compartment with an Israeli woman. The ride was quite bumpy so the sleeping was not the best, but I managed to get some before we arrived to Mumbai 1 hour too early at 8:30. I took a cab to Gate of India to make some sight seeing... the cab driver totally riped me of. I hadn#t taken a cab before in Mumbbai and was not sure where I was so i asked the driver to put the meter on... not a good idea. The meeter showed 22 and the driver showd me a tariff that 22 = 310 rupies. It is about 5 eros. I thought it was a quite expensive price, but what could I do else than pay, I tought maybe it is more expencive here...later I took a much longer drive for 70 rupises (about 1 euro) and realized that the tarrif was just a scam and the first ride should have been 22 rupies...it happens to the best too:D it's not a lot of money but you just feel so stupid.
At the gate of India I was meet by a tourism student who wanted me to do answer some questions about Indian food...we ended up talking about an hour about India and studying in europe etc. while I was waiting for the harbour cruises to start. I took a short harbour cruise and meet some nice Indian tourists on the boat. They insisted to take photos with me. The ride was short but fun and unfortunally you could see how smogy Mumbai really is. After the cruise I managed me and my backpact to the Gandhi museum that was small, but really good.
In the afternoon I was too lazy to carry around on my backpack so I decided to escape to the Airport AC and away from the hot, busy, dusty city. But arriving to the airport I learned that I wasn't allowed in before 4 hours prior to my flight and it was about 10 hours to go...I found a messy workers cantin on the side of the airport building and parked my stuff there and got some food. Later I meet a lot of cocroaches in the cantin...but no stomach problems:D I think I can finally say I have a stomach of steel because I manage even India without any serious stomach problems! So I stayed in the cantine for about 10 hours...fortunally I got some company from and German/Austrian/Italian tourist called Tino. He had been driving a motorbike from Munich to India, but had to return back home now because of a wierd sickness.
Anyway finally after all the waiting I could check in and without problems get on my flight. I sleept okay on the night flight and in the morning we arriwed to Munich. Wow! there was so much snow! and of course my next flight was delayed about 1,5 hours because of the snow. It was wierd to be back in Europe. Wierd to look like every one els...just a bit more tanned :D Everyone was talking first to me in german and so on. And how fun to see snow.
Around 9 am I landed in Vienna and Andy was meeting me at the airport. It was so great to see him and it was feeling like coming home...even if I am still traveling. We came into the city and we have stayed the past days at Andy's sister lisas place in the Vienna city center. Lisa is very nice and I enjoyed meeting here, now she is in Belgium but we had time to go out the first night I came here.
I finally got a shower after 2 days of traveling and that was nice. I wasn't tired at all so we went for some walking and a photo exhibition, some coffe and wine in a traditional Vienna cafe and in the evening out with Andy, Lisa and Andy's friend Bernard. We partied much longer than expected and in the end Lisa took a cab straight to the Airport.
With Andy we had a slow morning and then in the afternoon we went to Shonbrunn Palace where Sissi used to live. And we had some blini soup for the hangover later in another nice cafe.
Today we are continuing to Graz and then on Friday Andys secret plan starts and I have no clu where I end up:D
