Exciting day, starting our stay in Cairns & Mummy Gina's birthday

We are excited to be travelling to Cairns, we are not City people and are looking forward to living in a Tropical town!

We checked in at 12pm to the Sharehouse office, everything was perfect, we can go to them for anything which is nice not to feel all alone. We signed our contracts and our first rent is due 15th May then every week after that.

We have now got working mobile sim cards, we on our Vodafone, Dingo is our plan - unlimitted calls and texts between me & Adam , 25 mins to Uk or other networks, 100 texts to Uk or other networks. all for £6.50 a month (no contract you just top up every month)

We love our share house, we have about 8-9 people living in it, its huge!there are me & Adam upstairs + another 3 and then 4 downstairs. We unpacked and made the room feel like ours then went shopping.

It was such a busy day we did our food shopping & brought new pans and cooking bits as the stuff they give you isn't great and we only have spent about £40 on all new equiptment which is worth it in the long run. ( we are going to keep our bits in a container in the room as the people here are a bit dirty and we don't want them using our stuff) we have a cupboard for our food & space in the fridge and freezer so that is fine.

We explored the town & went down to the front where the beach is, we are like 20 mins walk everything is really built up and nice because we are not far from anything, the shops and cinema is 5 mins & so is the train station.

So happy today can't wait to wake up tomorrow & go out again.
