Hiya! Love the piccies and the blogs. Vietnam looks like a n interesting but scary place to be - don't much like the sound of being in a car!
Mark starts a new job on the 16th July (with the DVLA) so he's really looking forward to that. He was best man at his mate's wedding on saturday so I'll send some pics soon.
I have my first exam on the 16th July too, really nervous because I can't get on with revising until I've finished my assignment for my other course. Aaaaarrrghhh!!
The girls have sports day today so hopefully the rain will stay off.
William has cut another tooth and another is on the way so he's being a bit of a misery at the moment.
We're looking forward to my party but sad you're not going to be there. Make sure you don't go away next august because we're bringing the wedding forward. Should be the 15th but I'll let you know once it's all confirmed.
Love you loads,
Sylvia, Mark, Katie, Ben, Jessica & William xxx
p.s I miss you loads little sis xxx

Hi both, pleased to see that you got to Saigon ok and are clearly enjoying it. Sounds much more like SE Asia should be rather than Hong Kong! Your latest blog is very good and very informative please keep them coming. I was facinated to read about the tunnels and the war museum. Hanoi also has very extensive tunnel networks and many guided tours.
For those of you who don't remember the vietnam war Agent Orange and Super Orange were herbicide and defoliant. They were used by the US military for 10 years between 1961 and 1971. The americans belived that the vietkong were too effective at using natural cover to wage their campaign and decided to do something about it. Agent Orange, also Purple, Pink and Green, were known collectively as "rainbow Herbicides" Unfortunately when they degraded they released dioxins into the environment which caused cancer and birth and genetic defects. Apparently Agents Blue and White were dioxin free so there you go...!
Look after each other and have a great time. Watch out for pickpockets and people that "want to be your friend..."
Bye for now xx

Hi there, I've just had a look at your photos you look like you are having a great time. Different photos this time Disney! Your be on your way to Viet Nam now I wonder what you'll see there.
Saturday evening we went for a curry, guess where, with my mum and dad. Andy and Simone went to see dirty dancing, they said it was great. We went sailing on Sunday, there was no wind at all, it was a lovely day though very relaxing. BIG HUG xxx

We're back! Carole and I had a great time in Scotland except for the midge bites which were a real pain in the proverbial! We stayed in a little cottage in Strontian which is 431 miles from Stoke Golding and about 8 hours drive. Great weather, great scenery and no rain. Massive flooding in the Midlands when we got back and we were pleased we missed it all. Hong Kong sounds great and is definitely on the list at some point. Now you've both been somewhere that I haven't - respect! Hope you have a brilliant time in Viet Nam. Look after each other and mind how you go.
Sam just bought a new-style Fiat Panda in silver which looks very nice. Amy got to be a bridesmaid for the second time on Sunday which she really enjoyed. Bye for now... xx
