A stop off in Hong Kong....a greatful respite after my 14 hours from Johannesberg. I actually nearly didn't get here.

I got to the airport in JoBerg a day late (so blonde I know) and was so worried that I wasn't going to get any further in my travels for quite a while. Luckily the staff at the airport were great and managed to get me on the same flight to Hong Kong that I was supposed to be on the day before, and only had to pay 30 quid to rebook my ticket.

As I had a couple of hours to spare in Hong Kong I treated myself to a pedicure and a shower-really nice airport; designer shops everywhere, free internet, good food-a great way to while away my time....and then off to Auckland (another 11 hours!)
