02/12/2008 to 4/12/2008: As you can see from this photo we experienced one of India's true beauty's. The tea plantations of Munnar high in the mountains were just breath taking. 1/11/08/ A different change of scenery. Far away from the coast and deep into the jungle. This place was certainly a hit. First we began with an early morning trek through the sanctuary. A spotting of some tigar footprints made us nervous although unfortunatly we did not spot the tigar. We also enjoyed an afternoon animal spotting on a lake forrest boat. 29-30/11/08. Finally a bit of quiet time to ourselves to kick back and relax on our private houseboat. Weather wasnt flash in the beginning but the scenery definately made up for it. The sunset was amazing and the freshly cooked meals provided on the boat were very tastey. Money well spent.

28/11/08 time to hit the road or should we say waters. Our next destination had to be reached by ferry. The day was going smoothly and we were enjoying the lovely secnery of the keralan backwaters. We coaught a glimps of the local fisherman, birds, riverside towns and chinese fishing nets. After about 3 hrs we had a little problem. We lost a propaller and the ferry wasnt going anywhere. 27/11/2008 Finally arrived at a place with real character which is soooo relaxing and peaceful. It really does send off a hippy vipe, playing mainly Bob Marley music. The food and accommadation ever so cheap at $10 per night/for both our meals. Spend our days here soaking up the sun and romanticly strolling along the cliffs edge. Certainly a unique and rememberable place. Off to the backwaters of Kerala tomorrow at 7:00am :-)
