Arrived at Pyla Sur Mer in the Arcachon Basin (just South West of Bordeaux) with all 4 wheels, chassis and surprisngly the rest of the Camper Van fully in tact and have experienced no further problems since the hydraulic failure and footwell collapse.... though Abi has used her talents at `misplacing` items to the max to find a unique place in the van to lose stuff; a small mobile phone size gap down the back of the cupboards seemingly inaccesible to anything lar...

Arrived in Dover... Hydraulics in the boot gone and we've broken the footwell... at this rate we should still have the wheels and chassis left by the time we get to Bordeaux! Items forgotten by Abi: 1x European Medical Card (to be posted by the ever trusty parent) 1x Foldable Cup 1x Foldable plate Items broken by Dai: 1x Hydraulic system (currently being strongly disputed) 1x Footwell (don't ask!) sorry for the random photo, haven't uploaded any yet.

2 1/2 weeks until we need to leave the house and we are already nearly packed up.

Well here it is.........the campervan ('Um Bongo') that we intend to spend four months travelling in from September! Under two months to go and our plans are taking shape!..... if that shape were to be that of a random squiggle.... in fact the utter lack of shape our plans are taking may be of some surprise.
