Checked out of out hotel this morning.Had a wander round Chinatown & Little India for most of the day.Watching the news last night, & they said that air quality here has reached "hazardous" status for the 1st time this year. Aren't we luckily with our timing!!This evening will be spent on the Singapore - KL train, arriving at 7am tomorrow.

Booked our 1st class ticket to Kuala Lumpur, leave tomorrow evening arriving monday morning. Went & had a look round the Botanic gardens & went in the National Orchid Garden, which has about 60,000 different types of orchids.Even more humid today which is really gross.This evening went had dinner in a Spanish tapas restaurant, which was lovely, it even had a 3 piece band playing the Gypsy Kings.Finished off the evening at the Long Bar @ Raffles Hotel. Spent today on Sentosa island, which is 500 metres south of Singapore. Very pretty, shame about all the tankers passing & moored up just off the coast. Had hoped for a good view of Singapore but due to the dense smog that didnt happen. Went & saw a 4D movie which was cool, played crazy golf -quite a feat considering the heat & humidity, wandered round the island. Also went to the southern most point of the Asian continent, got no view at all...
