Grandma & Grandad
Abs, Don't know what we are smiling at - the old Wireless is not behaving itself this morning. This message is relayed by the steam Computer downstairs providing it behaves itself. Grandma sends the rest of the message - if you get two, obviously the first one got through - theres a logic somewhere. Its lovely to hear all your news from far away - you seem to be having a great time. We all sit here waiting for the next episode. Grandad looks every morning just as the sun comes up. Went for a ride on my scooter yesterday ( sunday) - it was a bit bumpy. We are going to St Annes this coming weekend and I shall be able to ride there all along the front, tooting my horn to those people who wont get out of the way. Grandad will be puffing behing me. he is busy feeding the birds at the moment with bacon scraps, its a bit differant than feeding elephants. Keep enjoying yourself and take care. Lots of love G & G. PS. Spoke to your mum a day or two ago, she did not mention birdwatching, it must be a new hobby. Its those new binoculars that your dad had for Xmas - they must be taking it in turns to look through them. ha Ha. Love you, G & G xxxxxx

Hi darling it was a nice suprise to talk to you this morning all be it short! I've texted a response again still unsure as to whether you are getting them-i did get yours about ringing you at the hotel and i've reponded with a yes when and how?? not sure if you got it-anyway hopefully communication will be sorted soon. I've just been to the gym-injured my knee again-not happy. Tomorrow we are going birdwatching again this time to Sandwich or Sheppey the weather is cold but sunny-not warm enough for an outside swim like you this morning. Anyway hope to speak again soon maybe tonight or tomorrow you're probably getting to know the new people who have joined your trip love you lots xxxxxxxxxx
Nan
Hi Abigail. It is lovely sitting here at Aunty Gaynor's being able to speak to you so far away. Your trip up to now looks amazing although I didn't fancy the idea of snakes in the river. It sounds so hectic - you'll need a holiday at the end of your trip! We had a day at the spa yesterday which was much more relaxing. Dad tells me that you are with a nice group of people - which I was pleased to hear. Take care sweetheart lots of love Nan and Jess xx
Grandad & Grandma
Hi Abs, Your mum has told me via your Granma that I have to put more family matters on the message board. Just goes to show you how I am treated by all the female fraternity in the family. We are spending the childrens inheritence like fun this week. Yesterday (Fri) we bought an electric invalid scoter for Grandma to enable her to go around National trusts and the like - maybe if I limp a bit more I shall be allowed to use it or even have one- also we have bought a new tele and dvd all singing, all dancing, recorder - has pause and the lot - the troublze is it was supposed to be delivered yesterday but like most of our British companies they will deliver when they want, not when I want - next Thursday is the due date. We shall be able to watch tele all day and go riding about town all night. Hows things - big frost here today - Sat - its as usual early for me to get on the Web - I am sat here in my dressing gown feeling that tomatoes and bacon sounds better then rice and noodles. Take care of yourself - type again soon ( me I mean ) Luv Grandma & Grandad.
Grandad & Grandma
Hi Abs, I have sent u not much rubbish this last day or 2. A Susan says thank you very much for your letter just before u set off - we also ( G + G) also say ta - Grandma has played heck with me for not saying before. I can't see the animals today, maybe the hamster was eaten by the parrot, the parrot devoured by the cat, the cat got run over with a car - never mind they will soon turn up - Grandma thinks the little men in white coats maybe turning up to take me away. I don't do dressing gowns and trainers when I am showfurring - can't take some people anywhere. Take good care of yourself, Grandma keeps reading all the correspondence so don' t anyone talk disrespectfully about Grandmas - talking about disrespect what's happened to Mr Pendlebury sir, has he spent all his weekly money and can't afford to run his / someone elses machine. Luv G & G xxxx
