Another trip home! I'm not away long enough to miss the kids and Ozzy! As always, it's good to be home again and of course warm weather. I left in -6 C and arrived to 24 C!! Craig, Tanya and Ozzy met me at the train station and Ozzy wouldn't let go of me! After licking my face a few times, he grabbed hold of the sleeve of my jersey and tried to drag me all the way home. I wanted to explore this gem of a mall that I found out about last week, so off I went back into Moscow to do some exploring. What an awesome mall. Wow, so many hidden away places! I must have walked through the Okhotney Ryad metro station at least ten times and not once did I realise there was a shopping centre inside the metro! The entire shopping centre is underground. They have a dome shaped roof above the ground but I don't think I ever noticed it either... What a great shopping centre. It has all the name brand shops. This week has been wonderful with Sarah the new English teacher! As this was her trial week, she taught the majority of the classes which left me with more free time to spend with the kids and watch them in their other classes. The one class I've been wanting to watch for a while has been their capoeira class which is a Brazilian martial arts class combined with acrobatics and dance. Yay! As I walked into breakfast this morning, Yulia asked if I had met the new teacher! What a nice surprise. I knew the school was looking for a second teacher to assist me but last I heard, they could not find anyone. Sarah is from the UK and is on trial for this week, so I'm not sure if they'll want her permanently or not but for now it's so good to have another English speaking person around.
