It's great to hear all your news. I enjoyed the photos which came through this morning although was a little puzzled at the one labelled Jem which was of a great big water buffalo!! Has he still got his beard or has that been rmoved now? Your trip sounds amazing and am enjoying using the technology to keep in touch with you. Have a fab Christmas. We shall toast absent friends and will be hoping you manage to get that glass of chilled wine with your friends in Australia
Hilary
Fantastic blog giving us all an insight into your trip. Tell jeremy article in telegraph last week that there are more Michelin starred restaurants in Japan than France now! It is extremely difficult for foreigners to book a table. Weather foul here lots of rain but very mild. Lisa and Mark here last week-end great to see them both. Lots of love xx

He He would of loved to see Mrs Cowan meditate for an hour and a half without giggling at least once xxxx

Well you guys, the Beach was on TV last night so I was thinking of you on your adventure. It is great to read everything that is happening over in Thailand. Norway is dark now and beggining to get cold. The clocks went back in Europe this weekend! We have not managed to get away in Bertie since you were here, and now he has a flat tire that I have to change this weekend! Anyway, keep making the most of all your opportunities - have you drunk snake blood yet? I have been looking for mention of the Trangia antics on the blog. Keep the posts coming. Tom and Lou

Great to get your frequent up dates of world tour - better than post cards. Chaing Mai was our favourite city in thailand. Business here is busy due to half terms. A lot of Aussies coming thro. Two from Sydney last week two today from New south Wales (Perth) both have said you should go to the wineries near Margaret river (3 hours from perth. Are you going inthat direction? The two from Sydney said you must stay in Sydney for xmas and new year as it is really party time!
Have watched DVD several times - Mark AND Duncan wearing BROWN shoes - UGH! lovely record of the day

Hi Mr and Mrs Cowan!
Glad to hear you arrived safe and well - sounds like you are really enjoying yourselves. Not much happening here. Me Cilla and Helen went to a comedy night on Monday - you would have loved it (well some of it!, some of it was crap).
Take care, and watch those spiders (Abbie thats nothing to do with your bikini line by the way).
