Reading your engaging commentaries and seeing your great photos helps me to transcend the dreariness of Cincinnati in winter. You never seem jaded; your appreciation for the wild beauty of SA shines though. There must be tremendous joy in living by your wits.

No, we didin't try the Cuy in Peru, we try to keep our animal eating standards to animals over 10 pounds. Not to mention they make quite a squealing noise just running around on the dirt floors we've seen them on...I can't imagine the sound they make when being slaughtered. Evidentaly the four toed ones (females) are worth more because they have more offspring...who knew!
