Rosie and I have decided to put together a travel blog so that we can keep friends and family updated with our journey around the world. Our hope is that we might inspire others to go to all the places they dream of and to reach their goals.

The idea for our travelling started off for both of us when we were young, but it was 2 years ago that we set the cogs in motion and decided we were finally going to pursue our dream.

Having previously very limited travel experience between us, we wanted to take some time out from our mundane jobs to go off and explore all the exciting places that we have heard so much about and only ever dreamt of. It is also going to be a chance for us to reflect and deliberate over what we really want to do with our lives and we hope this break will provide us with an opportunity to do just that.

We are in the final preparations now after moving from Newcastle back to London and have spent our last few weeks in the UK catching up with great friends and family.

Our Journey starts in less than 72 hours and although we are both a little nervous and anxious, there is a quiet excitement starting to build as the reality of what we are about to do sets in.

Our Flight leaves London Heathrow on Wednesday 20th January and after a short stopover in Bombay-India, we will be arriving in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday 21st January where our adventure really begins.
