India - OMG, not sure where to start.....Indi-ah! is on our bus, but its more like INDI-AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!?? for me. Best start at the beginning though - flight went well but when I arrived in Delhi, no driver as arranged - surprised myself by not feeling remotely panicy, but that could have been because it was 1130am so nothing is ever as bad in the daytime. Last night in Bangkok and typing this whilst Shirley is cooking me a lovely steak as a farewell meal - I've been so spoiled since I've been here - manicures, pedicures, hair conditioning treatment (to let my hair recover from the de-lousing :) and general lazing around and drinking wine. My last day in Cambodia was Rice Drop Day and what a day it was too - a unique experience Im so glad I was part of. New Hope support 282 families and once a month they come along to the centre to receive their allowance of rice, sauces, garlic and a small amount of money. The supplies arrived and we were in at 8am to weigh out the rice and put the sauces, first aid kit and garlic into bags. That took us some time especially as the Khymers were having a laugh...

Today was my last day in school as tomorrow is 'rice drop day'. Most of my morning class didn't make it in due to the absolutely torrential rain which started around 5 yesterday and didnt stop until today around 11 this morning. I have never seen rain like it - it was totally impossible to ride home from school last night so we all had to leave our bikes and wait until tuk tuks came out to New Hope.
