Europe has so far been a little crazy! A couple days in Amsterdam getting our tourist on has been the quietest of the eurotrip to date! Much I am sure to a lot of people's disbelief.
France again has been a highlight; I fell back in love with everything about this country from the countryside, city, the people and the culture and remember why I need to visit regularly. If given the choice a move to France would easily be on however the logistics currently look a little tough...and there are too many other places still to see!
We initially had the pleasure of spending 4 days in Tours in the south of France with a beautiful group of people celebrating the Howard Hinton 7's tournament. A celebration of a man who clearly made such an impact on this town. Catching up and spending time with a groups of girlfriends from back home could not have been more fun! Although our livers may disagree!
From there, 3 whirlwind days were spent in Paris where we did the required tourist attractions and then hung out with a local learning to speak French (very poorly) and purely indulging in the experience. There is something about Paris that I feel incredibly at ease there yet in awe at the same time. A place that I know I will revisit many times to come. After sadly saying farewell to Paris we made our way to Prague and explored this unique city. A pub crawl with people from all over the globe, many kilometres walking to take in the sites and delicious donut tubes filled with cream were just some of the highlights of Prague that has us honestly in need a good nights sleep and a rehydration plan. The next stop is Budapest where I am sure it will be more of the same but in its own unique way xx
