Well I'm pleased to report that we made it to Bangkok in one piece & amazingly - so did our backpacks! Slight hiccup when we changed planes in Singapore as the baggage machine had broken down & so all luggage was being checked on manually. Our flight was delayed by about 40 mins because they had 50 bags missing at one point. The whole journey took about 19 hrs but wasn't too bad considering.
