The day dawned cloudy the fist real clouds in days. We have been very lucky with the weather over the last three weeks.

We are all packed up and ready to go by 10 am so we say goodbye to our luxury accommodation and vow to return oneday

It’s off to Cherbourg to raid the major supermarkets of red wine cheese champagne and anything else that’s cheap. Into the town head for the harbour and a quick walk around the town and we sit down for a leisurely lunch of fish and omelette.

Off to the port and it’s non voyage to France and back to good old Blighty. Poole harbour is damp and rainy.... we know we are home!!
Ps. The blog puts us in Moffat Scotland but I can assure you we are in Poole harbour!!
