Welcome from Montreal - we got here - a little tense at times with traffic but overall good. Our little apartment is rustic but has everything we need and in a fantastic position. Plus it has a washing machine and drier.

Today we explored Montreal first by hop on off bus but we didn't hop off but then we walked, and walked and walked so Lyndon I can eat the breakfasts!!!

BUT the most important thing in Bill's eyes he has BRAGGING rights today. We had lunch in a beautiful street in the Old Port area and when Bill went to fix up the check (as they call it here) I left the table with the back pack BUT NOT the camera. Fortunately we hadn't left the premise and a waitress returned it to us!!!! But Bill is feeling rather smug at the moment.

This area reminds us of Bordeaux in France, lots of people, the types of buildings and ambience. Today they had a major road closure for markets and it stretched for miles- they use miles over here.
